Collision Avoidance Algorithm Slide 3
Second Condition Truck is approaching from the car, Detecting Truck approaching is done by comparing the current measured distance between truck and car to the previous one, if current is less than previous then the truck is approaching. It's clear that the truck is going to collide with the car.
